# Delete MHL files

### How to use <a href="#how-to-use" id="how-to-use"></a>

This AppleScript will delete the .mhl file OffShoot creates after a transfer. MHLs will only be deleted when the transfer is successful.&#x20;

1. Add script to [File Copy Completed](/offshoot/features/automation/scripts/events/filecopycompleted.md) event in OffShoot's `Settings > Scripting` pane.
2. When a transfer completes the script is run, checks if the transfer was successful, and deletes the .mhl file
