# EditReady

Automatically transcode clips with EditReady after each successful transfer.

## Requirements

* OffShoot 24.1 or newer
* EditReady 24.1 or newer\*

{% hint style="info" %}
\*You *can* use EditReady versions 22.4 or 23.1.x with this integration, but you must launch EditReady before performing a transfer.
{% endhint %}

## How to use

1. Go to `OffShoot > Settings > Integrations` and click `Enable EditReady integration`.
2. By default, the integration triggers for the First Destination a Source is transferred to. It's also possible to specify a Destination name or path. Use a wildcard (\*) for even more flexibility.

{% hint style="info" %}
Multiple Destinations are also supported; must be separated by a semicolon.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
S3 destinations are currently not supported.
{% endhint %}

3. Set the destination location for the transcoded clips.&#x20;
4. Set the EditReady transcode preset you want to use. <br>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.hedge.video/offshoot/integrations/editready.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
