# Sharing Files

When customers have trouble with specific files, our support team often requests that they send us those files so we can investigate. We will provide you with a link to upload the files. When you send us files, we move them from the upload platform to store them on our internal cloud storage. Only the appropriate Hedge team members can access these files, and your files will never be shared outside of Hedge.

If we need to reproduce a specific storage workflow, the files you provided might need to be copied onto local storage in our test lab. If so, that storage is formatted after testing has concluded.

If your file uncovers a bug in a piece of software, we default to keeping the file for testing of future releases, to prevent regression. If this is not OK for you, please let us know.
