How to use

Once Foolcat is installed on your computer, enable the Foolcat integration in Preferences (or in Settings on Windows)
Hedge's Foolcat integration settings
Next, specify the Destination(s) from which to create your reports.

Create reports for Transfers that match Destination:

If you don't specify a Destination, reports will be created for All Destinations . You can also tell Hedge which specific Destination(s) should be used. You can specify:
  • A volume name.
  • A folder path. Use a wildcard (*) for more flexibility.
Multiple Destinations must be separated by a semicolon.
Use the Location dropdown to tell Foolcat where to save the report.
  • On Destination: a Reports folder will be created in the Destination that is set for that transfer.
  • Browse: allows you to set a custom location.
Starting at version 20.1, Foolcat also saves a report locally. If you only want one report saved, set the location to be equal to the location set in Foolcat.
Finally, you can customize the report by setting a Catalog name and Description . These elements can be used: {Source Name}, {Counter}, {YYYY}, {YY}, {MM}, {DD}, {hh}, {mm}, {ss}.
Once you've configured the integration, transfer your media. When a transfer completes, Foolcat will open and create the report.
