Canister

Automatically archive with Canister after each successful transfer.

Requirements

  • OffShoot 26.3 or newer

  • Canister 26.1.3 or newer on Mac, and 26.1.4 or newer on Windows*

*Canister must be open with a tape mounted while you run this integration.

How to use

  1. Go to OffShoot > Settings > Integrations and click Enable Canister integration.

  2. By default, the integration triggers for the First Destination a Source is transferred to. It's also possible to specify a Destination name or path. Use a wildcard (*) for even more flexibility.

Multiple Destinations are also supported; must be separated by a semicolon.

S3 destinations are not supported.

  1. Tape Name is optional. Leave it empty to use the mounted tape.

  2. Create Folders is optional. Set a folder name or path, or leave it empty to archive at the tape root.
